Distance between Penang and Krabi

Penang Island is located 2.5 km from mainland Malaysia. It is connected with it by two bridges: the old one (length 13.5 km) and the new one (length 24 km),  on which are moves buses, minibases, trucks and cars. The land distance from the city of Butterworth, located just beyond the bridge on the mainland, to the province of Krabi is 335 km or 208 miles.

How to get from Penang to Krabi  by minibus

From the city of Georgetown, the capital of the island of Penang, in the Thai province can be reached by minibus. Comfortable minivans of New Asia Travel company depart from Komtar bus station in Krabi three times a day: at 5.00, 8.30, 12.00. Travel time is 7 hours 30 minutes.
